Kotsioni renewed with Vouliagmeni

Marina Kotsioni remains loyal to Vouliagmeni. NOV has announced the renewal of its partnership with the club’s women’s polo team for another year, with the 24-year-old international goalkeeper being a member of the National team.

In detail, the announcement:

“The Nautical Club of Vouliagmeni and the women’s water polo department are pleased to announce the renewal of their partnership with goalkeeper and captain of the team, Marina Kotsioni, for 2023-2024!

Since the age of 16, Marina Kotsioni has been wearing the cap of the Navy Club, having served all the academy teams, offering the best to all women in recent years, competing in A1.

Contributing to all the successes of the women’s team at the pan-Hellenic, as well as European level, the 24-year-old goalkeeper also counts participations with the National team, such as in 2016 with the representative group of the Young Women (World Championship), but also in 2018 and 2019 with the Women’s national team, where she competed in the Europa Cup and the World Championship in Guangzhou.

In addition, from 2022 Marina Kotsioni is the captain of our women’s team, while in the past she has been crowned champion of Greece with the New Women of N.O.B. in 2016 and 2017, culminating in winning the Greek Cup in 2019 in Chios with the women’s team and third place in the Final-4 of the LEN Euroleague!

Last season, Marina produced a series of outstanding performances in the A1 Women’s Playoffs, being a key factor in the Navy Club winning the silver medal in the event, while she is also in preparation for the National team.
