In September 2020, Watford gave him the opportunity to return to England and he did not miss the opportunity.
He was pivotal in the return to the Premier League, playing 17 games in the top flight, but Watford’s relegation and the many internal changes in the 2022-23 season saw him in the second half looking for a new adventure.
