On Wednesday, Kalamata ’80 became a definitive member of the Men’s Volleyball League, as decided by the General Assembly of ESAP. On the contrary, the decision on AEK was postponed for the 31st of the month, i.e. to the next General Assembly of the League.
In other decisions of the General Assembly, it was decided to use five foreigners in the new league, to hold the men’s Super Cup in Olympiakos and PAOK, while it was proposed to start the new men’s Volley League for October 28.

“At the meeting of the General Assembly of ESAP that took place today, Wednesday 5/7 at the ‘Coral’ hotel, the following tasks were carried out:
The application of A.O. Kalamata ’80 to the Volley League for the 2023-24 season was approved and all the delegates wished the representative of the historic Messinian club, Kostas Vlassis, a ‘good term’ and a long stay in the category. It is the first time that A.O. Kalamata ’80 will compete in the professional category.
AEK’s application for participation in the Volley League season 2023-24 was postponed until the General Assembly of July 31, 2023.
The administrative and financial report of the management period 2022-23 was unanimously approved and the members of the Board of Directors were released from all responsibility.
The budget for the management period 2023-24 was voted unanimously.
Vacancies in the new ESAP Board of Directors were filled: The position of First Vice-President was taken over by the president of TAA Athlos Orestiada, Giorgos Tsolakidis, and the position of treasurer by the president of TAA Pigasos Polichnis, Giorgos Dionas.
The new term of the Championship Committee was approved without making any changes to its composition.
The new representative of TAA AO Finikas Syros was the new president and lawyer, Dora Kartanou, to whom all her colleagues wished a successful term and good success in her work.
