The heavy metal band Judas Priest released a single with the late Ozi Ozborn to raise money for Parkinson’s disease.

Ozi Osborne, a former Black Sabbath leader, was diagnosed with degenerative neurological disease in 2019 and died at the age of 76 in July, weeks after a farewell concert at Villa Park, in Aston, Birmingham, a breath away from the area in which he grew up.

The Judas Priest, who were formed in Birmingham in the 1960s, decided to release a version of Black Sabbath’s War Pigs for a good purpose, since they were unable to participate with other metal bands at the concert on July 5 due to unanimous obligations.

Glenn Tipton, a member of the band, who is also diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, plays guitar and Rob Halford and Ozi Ozborn sing alternately.

The song was originally designed as a video dedicated to Osborne and Black Sabbath, before the band proposed to turn it into a single for charity.

Sales proceeds will be donated to the Glenn Tipton Foundation for Parkinson’s and the Cure Parkinson’s Research Center.
