Daniel Utomi is of Nigerian origin born on March 7, 1997 in Houston, USA and with a height of 1.98m. plays as a small forward.
From 2015 to 2020 he attended Akron College, while the following year he played for USC. In the summer of 2020, he signed his first professional contract, specifically with Kauhajoki Karhu, Finland. A few months later, he moved to France, on behalf of Vichy, where he completed the 2020/21 season.
In the 2021/22 season he went to Italy on behalf of Pistoia in the championship of the A2 category, while last season he wore the jersey of Umana Kiuzi. There, in 28 games he averaged 15.1 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists, shooting 42% from three.
