Baba Rahman: “I appreciated Lucesco’s approach”

Baba Rahman spoke about the way in which Lucescu approached him in his first statements referring to his return to PAOK.

“PAOK has been in constant contact with me in the last two years and I believe it was the right move for me. You have to go where you are wanted and appreciated. Although I had other proposals, I chose PAOK, because they are like family to me! The coach really expressed his desire to have me in the team and that’s something I really appreciated and actually made me choose PAOK”mentioned and added…

“I didn’t talk to anyone about my final decision. From time to time, however, I have been in contact with some people from the group. I watch a lot of PAOK matches and sometimes, when I watch them, I send messages to wish them well!”

Regarding Rasvan Lucescu, with whom he will work for the first time, he emphasized:

“Generally, from what I’ve seen on TV, I think he likes the team to have the ball and he wants to press, which is something I really like. I’m sure it will be very different than when I was here two years ago. I think it’s great to have Lucescu as a coach!”
