First “bang” at the Women’s World Cup: Jamaica put the brakes on France!

The first big “bang” at the Women’s World Cup! THE Franceone of the favorites to win the trophy, failed to break her block Jamaica and fatefully the two teams remained at 0-0!

Spencer made some good moves especially in the finals Diani who were a constant source of danger, with Shaw having a great moment with a terrific free kick from 30 meters but 0-0 would not change until the end of the half.

The second half had a similar pace and setting, with France continuing to control and be better and Jamaica falling further and further behind, looking to keep a clean sheet going into their second match against Panama to get the three points and… embrace qualification!

It was saved by Diani in stoppage time when her header came off the crossbar, with Jamaica in the finale losing their top player, Shaw, who was sent off with a second yellow. Which ultimately did not affect the result, with 0-0 remaining until the final whistle.
