He continues to do… just kidding o Max Verstappen!
Although he lost the pole to Lewis Hamiltonthe Dutchman passed him in the first corner and eventually won the lead at Hungarian GPachieving his ninth win of the season and increasing his lead in the overall standings to 110 points!
Impressive for another weekend were the improved ones McLarenby Lando Norris to finish second and climb to another podium after Silverstone. In third place finished o Sergio Perezwhile Hamilton crossed the finish line fourth, despite starting from the top of the grid.
Fifth came the again impressive Oscar Piastriwhile the top ten were completed by Russell, Leclerc, Saint, Alonso and Stroll.

The race
Immediately upon startup, Hamilton and Verstappen they found themselves wheel to wheel, and the Dutchman took the lead directly from the Briton. The seven-time champion’s day got even worse as Norris and Piastri quickly passed him and he was fourth early on.
For Alpineon the other hand, the news was tragic, as within the first three laps both Ocon and Gasly retired with mechanical problems.
Saint and Leclerc they were 5th-6th, with Monegasque having a disastrous pit stop on lap 18 and finishing 11th. He quickly, however, passed Stroll and Alonso, returning to 9th place.
By lap 24, all drivers had moved to the hard tyres. However, in the 25th, Perez entered the pits to put on a middle tire. After the change, it started to go up by passing Saint and Russell for 5th place.
With the race reaching the halfway mark, o Verstappen he had already built up a big gap, with Norris, Piastri and Hamilton trailing all the way, with long distances between them.
In the 48th round, he made his counterattack Dayswho passed Piastri and moved up to fourth, while a little later he took advantage of Hamilton’s pit stop to finish third, behind Verstappen and Norris.
The Dutchman, meanwhile, had built up a huge gap, resulting in a second pit stop, returning 11 seconds behind the Norris. The latter held second place, however, under pressure from Peres who was getting closer. Further back, Hamilton managed to overtake Piastris, taking fourth place.
Further back, an upward trend was followed by Russellwho on the medium tire and a light fuel load overtook Saint and moved up to seventh, between the two Ferrari.
Finally, Mr Verstappen finished comfortably in first place, while they followed Norris, Peres, Hamilton and Piastri, with the Ferraris finishing 6th (Leclerc) and 8th (Saint) respectively. 7th was Russell, while the top ten was completed by the two Aston Martins of Alonso and Stroll.
