Guardiola: “Haaland is better than last year”

After the game, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola commented: “Compared to last season, Erling is in better shape now and it shows. He is still far from his best, like everyone, but it was important for him to score two goals in the first leg because at the same time last season he had not scored. We know him very well now and in a few weeks he will be in better shape than he is now».

Let’s remember that Erling Haaland swept the season as in 53 games, he had 52 goals and 9 assists. In fact, the Premier League had announced the selection of Erling Haaland, as the top footballer of the year, in the English league.
