Corriere di Bologna: “Virtus wants 1 million euros for Sengelia – Panathinaikos is not going”

by

His effort has become very difficult as well as impossible, at least with the current data Panathinaikou to acquire him Toko Sengelia.

According to the authoritative local newspaper Corriere di Bologna, Virtus claims at least 1 million euros for the release of the Georgian power forward. The “greens”, of course, do not seem willing to offer such an amount to the runner-up of Italy and as everything shows the 32-year-old ace will stay in Bologna and will not move to Athens.

It is recalled that Sengelia had… gone crazy with the prospect of playing for Panathinaikos and had himself personally undertaken together with his agent, without the involvement of the “greens”, the discussions with Virtus Bologna for his release. Although initially there was a feeling that the Italian team would release him to get rid of his big contract due to the cuts he is making this summer, finally it seems that the management of Virtus Bologna has changed strategy and obviously wants to get the most benefit possible.

THE Panathinaikos he is not going to give such sums for Sengelia and already considering other cases for position “4”, who will advance them if they meet Ergin Ataman’s wishes. If the facts about the Georgian change and until then no player has been found, it might concern.
