Nicholas Freire in Olympiakos and with the… bullet!
Piraeus announced the acquisition of the Argentinian defender on loan, who will compete with the red and whites for the next season, with Olympic to retain a purchase option for next summer.

PAE Olympiacos announces the acquisition of Argentine defender Nicolas Freire, who was born on February 18, 1994 in Santa Lucia, San Juan province.
He took his first footballing steps in his native CAI before joining Argentina Juniors, with whom he made his first team debut in the 2012-2013 campaign, making 12 appearances. In total with the club of his country he made 96 appearances, scored six goals and became its captain.
In July 2017, he was bought by Torke from Uruguay, a member of the City Football Group, to be loaned to Tsvole. In the Dutch team he made 21 appearances (18 in the Eredivisie), scored one goal and provided two assists.
In the summer of 2018, he was acquired on loan from Brazilian Palmeiras, while the same was done in January 2019 from Quito, Ecuador, with whom he made 14 appearances and scored four goals.
In July 2019, Pumas from Mexico bought him from Torque. Between then and this season, the left-footed centre-back made 129 appearances, scoring six goals and providing two assists, wearing the captain’s armband.
