Storm of reactions has emerged in the last few hours on social media regarding an indecent question asked by his journalist BBC.

Specifically, his question was directed at her leader of the Moroccan national team, Ghislaine Chebakat the press conference and what the reporter of the leading British network wanted to know was whether “are there gay players in the team and what is life like for them in Morocco” since in the country homosexuality is considered a criminal offense and punishable by imprisonment from 6 months to 3 years.

Her manager FIFA for the press conference immediately interrupted the journalist, who is not named, telling him that his player Morocco will not answer him since his question is about political issues, which is expressly forbidden.

The journalist was not particularly deterred and continued, saying that this is not a political issue but a human question, with her man FIFA to answer that in press conferences questions should only be asked about football.

The reactions were immediate, with the reporter receiving attacks from other journalists through social media, from television critics and his ordinary followers Women’s World Cup.

His sports reporter CBC, Srin Ahmedtweeted that she was present at the press conference and said that his reporter BBC it was… “completely out of tune”.

“To ask a player about her teammates about being gay and how it affects them when you know it’s not allowed is weird and out of line. The captain cannot reveal the players, nor comment on the policy, which can be dangerous for them”he wrote characteristically.

THE Danielle Warbyan advocate and strategic advisor for women in sport, took a scathing stand: “How not to do journalism”he wrote characteristically. “That’s why we fight for diversity in the sports media. This question puts female players at risk. Those of us who were there know this”he also pointed out.

“We recognize that the question was inappropriate. We had no intention of causing harm or trouble.”a representative said in a brief statement BBCwithout asking any public “Sorry” and this results in strong reactions continuing.
