Continuing his contacts with Federations and Agencies of Greek sports, the Deputy Minister of Sports, Mr. Yannis Oikonomou, met today, at the Ministry of Sports, with the President of the Board of Directors. of Super League 1, Mr. Evangelos Marinaki, and the Deputy President, Mrs. Katia Koxenoglou.
The Bureau of Super League 1 raised the issues of professional arbitration, the effective implementation of the Holistic Study, the reduction of the contract rates that the League is obliged to pay and the tax rates.
The Deputy Minister of Sports pointed out that many steps need to be taken in the direction of upgrading Greek football. The Government is determined to act both as a guarantor of this course and as a catalyst for positive developments, especially in the fields of confrontation, always within the framework defined by national laws and international conventions, with transparency, legality and fair play in mind.
