In 2015 Harrell began his collegiate career at Creighton University. In 2019, the professional career of the 27-year-old forward began. He started the year at Steaua CSM EximBank Bucuresti, where he had 7.8 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists, and finished it at Etzella Ettelbruck, Luxembourg, with 28 points, 9.9 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game.

In 2020 he moved to Spain for Bahia San Agustin Palma, with whom he averaged 16.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.7 steals.

In the summer of 2021, he played for the first time in Israel, with Hapoel Gilboa’s jersey, averaging 12.3 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists, as well as 1.6 steals per game.
