AEK announced Poulopoulou, Galiatsatou

Maria Galiachatou and Mikaela Poulopoulou became AEK players on Saturday. The Union announced the acquisition of the two bowlers for next year to strengthen the department for a good run in next season’s domestic competitions.

“AEK is pleased to announce the start of its collaboration with Maria Galiachatou. The 22-year-old (12/12/2001) regional player signed her contract and joins the club’s women’s polo team.

Maria Galiatsatou started polo from GS Peristeriou, while she spent a year at the OSFP Academy. ANOG followed, with which he won the gold medal in Young Women and Girls. From 2019 to 2022, she also strengthened the ANOG women’s team, winning third place three times (2019, 2020, 2021) and second place once (2022). Last season he wore the cap of Panioni.

After the formalization of the agreement, Maria Galiatsatou said to aek.gr: “I feel very happy to become a member of the great and historic club of AEK. I promise to repay the trust shown in me by the administration and my coaches, with my competitive spirit and giving all my strength, so that with my fellow athletes we can reach the team’s goals. AEK is pleased to announce the start of its collaboration with Mikaela Poulopoulou. The 23-year-old goalkeeper has signed her contract and joins the club’s women’s polo team.

Mikaela Poulopoulou, despite her young age, has significant experience in the A1 National Division, having defended the home team of Ethnikos Piraeus, NE Patras, Olympiakos, Nireos Chalandrios, as well as NO Rethymno.

After the agreement was formalized, Mikaela Poulopoulou said to aek.gr: “I wish for a year above all with health and without injuries. I’m happy to work with people I’ve worked with before and I, in turn, will try to help the team achieve its goals.”
