He destroyed Bayern Munich with… Olmo and Leipzig won the Super Cup!

by

In… performance for a role Danny turned Olmo this year’s final of the German Super Cup, as well as the hat trick which scored against the Bayern Munich drove her Leipzig in the impressive prevalence with 3-0 and at the same time winning the first trophy for the new season!

The Spaniard scored early on 3′with tremendous energy in 44′ and to 68′ on penalties, giving the German Cup the first Super Cup in its history.

While the ‘very’ Harry Kane -having arrived in Germany this morning- made his debut, entering as change in the 63rd minutehaving basically only two or three contacts with the ball and carrying the… negative aura of Tottenham.

The match:

The “red bulls” entered well and were lucky to take the lead in just the 3rd minute. When, after Raum’s foul, the ball reached Henrichs, who couldn’t shoot past Kimmich and Leimer, but Olmo, with a shot from the left side of the area, sent the ball into the net for 0-1!

The Bavarians gradually managed to overcome their composure and went in search of an equaliser, with Tell however proving reckless in the 16th minute, sending the ball into the arms of Blaswich between the four of them, following Gnabry’s through ball.

While, eight minutes later, the French striker had another missed opportunity as he was on the receiving end of the ball after Gnabry’s steal and turn from the left, but he shot high and wide…

Bayern’s failure was followed by misfortune, since after a while… billiards in Sane’s attempt and Simakan’s intervention in the 28th minute, the ball stopped at the left post of the Leipzig goal and went over for a corner!

Finally, one minute before the break and since 1-1 hadn’t happened earlier, 0-2 came and even with an admittedly beautiful goal.

In particular, Orban fed Werner, who cut the ball down the left for Olmo who passed between De Ligt and Leimer, shot under the feet of Ulreich and scored for the visitors’ second time!

Thomas Tuchel made not one but… three changes at the break – with Kim also making his Bayern debut – as his side got off to a stronger start.

However, Sane’s shot in the 48th minute went narrowly wide, while Gnabry’s cross from the right on a fine counter-attack by the German champions was a bit too strong for the incoming Tel.

Bayern continued to press for a goal that would have put them back in the match, with Musiala and Tell wasting another chance in the same phase with an hour to go.

Kane entered the game in the 63rd minute, to be followed by two moves from Marco Rose, who changed both of the Saxons’ strikers and his justification, if only from… momentarily.

From the hand of Mazraoui to be precise, inside the area, with the referee Dankert awarding a penalty and Olmos being accurate in his execution, “writing” in the 67th minute the 0-3, which was supposed to be the final result!

As Blaswich was on hand to Coman’s dangerous shot in the 75th minute, Mazraoui missed unmarked at the far post from Gnabry’s free-kick seven minutes later.

While the same thing happened twice with Cesko’s efforts in 88′ and 89′, with Ulreich saving the first and the Slovenian striker narrowly missing the second.
