In a video message released late Saturday night, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked Greece for joining the G7 Declaration of Support for Ukraine.

“We have yet another result of working with our partners on security guarantees. Greece joined the G7 Declaration on guarantees for Ukraine. This is the 14th country. In addition to Greece, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Ireland, Latvia, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Spain and Sweden have joined. Thank you to every state!” Zelensky said in his message last night.

Ukraine’s president also thanked German Chancellor Olaf Scholz for handing over two more Patriot batteries to his war-torn country. “It is very important,” he emphasized in a video message released late Saturday. “Thank you Germany, thank you people, thank you Olaf,” Zelensky said.

US-made air defense systems are proving valuable to the Ukrainian armed forces, as Kiev says it has already intercepted several Russian hypersonic missiles. Every strengthening of Ukraine’s anti-aircraft defense means that thousands of lives are saved, the Ukrainian president underlined.

German military aid recently delivered to Ukraine also includes 10 Bandvagn 206 tracked vehicles, six semi-trailer trucks, 6,000 smoke-producing 155mm artillery shells, machine guns, scopes, binoculars and demining equipment.
