The new player of our team was born in Riga, Latvia on August 4, 1994, he is 2.11m tall. and competes in the center position, being the last transfer move in terms of foreign athletes.
Gromovs began his professional career with Ventspils in 2012, making his first four appearances for the first team.
In the 2013-2014 season he started in Ventspils, but after 8 games he was given to Jurmala/Fenikss (Latvia), with which in 26 games he averaged 7.8 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in more from 18 minutes of participation.

He returned to Riga in the 2021-2022 season, having for the first time experience from a European competition, as he counted 8 participations in the Basketball Champions League. In a total of 36 games that season he averaged 6.6 points and 5.9 rebounds, playing 20 minutes in each game.
Last year he started in Riga, had 14 appearances, but decided to continue with the Austrian Arkadia Traiskirchen Lions, with whom he averaged 14 points, 11.5 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 19 games and 33 minutes of participation.
