Singer Joelma, 49, already has a date to resume her shows: it will be on September 1st. The artist took an indefinite break from her schedule in July after feeling sick at an event in Santa Maria das Barreiras, in Pará.
“First of all, I want to thank you. Thank you so much for your prayers, for your affection, for your love, for everything! I have news: on September 1st I’m back so we can kill that longing”, she explained.
In the last month, Joelma had a “relapse”, according to the company that manages her career. “On medical advice, [Joelma] will continue in health treatment and will have the concert schedule canceled for an indefinite period”, was stated in the Jshows note.
It was not the first time that she canceled performances due to health problems, although the cause was not revealed. The singer suffers from sequels of Covid-19.
Joelma experienced breathing difficulties during another show in Bragança, Pará, and had to be seen by Samu.
In November 2022, in São Paulo, the artist commented on her health. “I’ve had three eye strokes. And a few cardiac arrests, but nobody knows that. I went through it alone. But He [Deus] it’s my strength. In Him I can do all things,” she said.
