The correct coordination, the hard work and the effort of everyone have resulted in Greece being the star in all international events, of every age category.
So far the Greek wrestlers in 2023 have won medals in all the international competitions they have participated in. More specifically, in 5 European championships and two World championships, our country has won a total of 10 medals!!
The modern… Midas of sports prove that they are wrestlers and this great feat – medals in all international events – is a rarity for Greek sports.
The rich talent of the athletes, the hard work of the association coaches, as well as the targeted program of the federation coaches deserve a lot of praise.
The Hellenic Wrestling Federation, according to its financial capabilities, is perhaps the only federation that gives premiums to athletes for their successes, even in the small age categories, while at the same time providing many preparations to distinguished athletes and not only.
