Greece won 23 more medals, reaching 66, at the ITF World Taekwondo

Our National ITF Taekwondo Team continues to star in the Worldwide Championship Taekwon–Do ITF 2023 Men’s, Women’s, Young Men’s, Young Women’s, Juniors, Juniors and Veterans, held in Astana, Kazakhstan, once again vying for a place on the podium at the world’s premier event.

On the 4th matchday, Greece added another goal 23 medals in her harvest, conquering 6 gold, 8 silver and 9 copper. The 6 gold medals were won in the combat event by the young men Michalis SismanisMichael ArchbishopKonstantinos Markadathe teenager Iakovos Kalambakas and the Evangelia youths Katsimani and Nefeli Avramidou.

Our National ITF taekwondo team, after the first 4 days of competition, has won 66 medals in total (11 gold, 18 silver and 37 bronze) and looks capable of climbing to the podium of the final classification, continuing the golden tradition she has created in recent years, in all European and World Championships.
