Neymar’s recent club move was cause for celebration for Paris Saint-German fans. In the game against Lens, on Saturday (26), some people in the stands raised a banner celebrating the Brazilian’s move to Al Hilal, in Saudi Arabia.

“Neymar: We finally got rid of the rude,” it read. The club change was announced on August 15 and will initially last for two seasons. Under the agreement with the Arab club, Neymar will receive one of the highest salaries in world football: 320 million euros (R$ 1.7 billion at current prices).

The attacker’s presentation to the fans was made on August 19 after his arrival on a royal family plane valued at R$ 1 billion. Neymar was sidelined for more than five months due to a serious injury to his right ankle in February, and returned to action a short time ago.

Who also moved was Bruna Biancardi, who is six months pregnant with the player’s second child. Through Instagram, she acknowledged being apprehensive about adapting.

“I’ve just arrived. I still don’t know much and I’ve read a little about Arab culture, but I need to delve deeper. As the days go by, I’ll discover how everything works around here and tell you everything,” he commented to his followers.

On Friday (18), he was summoned by coach Fernando Diniz to play in the first two games of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers. Brazil faces Peru, away, and Bolivia, at the Mangueirão Stadium, in Belém, days September 8th and 12th.
