Always discreet, Antonela Roccuzzo, 35, drew attention in a recent departure of her husband, Lionel Messi, 36, for Inter Miami. After a game against Cincinnati, last Wednesday (23), which qualified the team for the final of the US Open Cup, she entered the field to congratulate the Argentine, but ended up going viral on the internet.
Excited, she tries to find Messi among her teammates, and ends up mistaking the Spaniard Jordi Alba, 34. In the video that circulates on the internet (check it out below), it is possible to see her almost kissing him on the mouth, but she notices a shortly before, and the two end up just hugging — and laughing a lot about the situation.
Antonela and Messi have known each other since they were children and started dating when they were still teenagers. At first, the relationship was long-distance, as the player left Argentina at the age of 13 to train in Spain.
It was only in 2010 that she moved to the European country to live with him. The wedding was made official in 2017, with the presence of several football stars. The couple has three children: Thiago, 10, Mateo, 7, and Ciro, 4.
Before joining Messi at Inter Miami, Jordi Alba already played with him at Barcelona. He is married to Spanish influencer Romarey Ventura, 34, with whom he has three children.
