His academy OFI is strengthened with Ioannis Ryakiotakis and Lazaros Oikonomakis. These two children were members of the Gerards – Papadakis Soccer Academy.
These are two great talents, with Ryakiotakis (born in 2009) and Oikonomakis (born in 2010) having charted a common path for almost six years at the said academy.
In fact, the selection of the 13-year-old children was made through the tryouts that were held the previous period of time.
The announcement
With great joy but also with pride, we announce that two more “our” children, who come from the football academy of the “Evgenios Gerard Sports Club”, have been integrated into the K15 of PAE OFI.
They are Ioannis Ryakiotakis, who was born in 2009, and Lazaros Oikonomakis, who was born in 2010.
Both have been with us for almost 6 years. They participated in our educational program from an early age, they lived a lot with us and we lived with them. That is why our emotion is special and great.
It is worth mentioning that in the last 2 years, the Academy of PAE OFI has been staffed by five footballers who come from our academy. The academy created by Mr. Manolis Papadakis with the late Evgenios Gerard.
It is important to emphasize that through a stable and healthy environment, as our Academy operates, with freedom in the thoughts and decisions of the children, they acquire elements, which are of particular importance in what has to do with the development of their personality, Sports, learning and socialization are at the top of our goal, through pleasant situations and not under the pressure of the result, just to please the parents. For us, safety and health come first.
The educational program of our Academy has a single and clear axis, always with respect and we are heading in one direction, all groups of all ages. Our goal is for kids to feel comfortable with the ball and gain confidence by doing what they think and not what the coach or parent thinks.
We wish both Yannis and Lazaros a good career! We are proud of both of them and of all the children of the “Evgenios Gerrard Sports Club” Academy.
