The “first” of the men’s volleyball team of Panathinaikos on Monday at OAKA was attended by the President, Panagiotis Malakates, the general captain, Sotiris Nikas, the President of the Financial Committee, Dimitris Gondikas, as well as the director of the competition , Sotiris Pantaleon.
Everyone welcomed the new athletes to the team and wished them a successful season.
The coach, Dimitris Andreopoulos, said: “Another season is starting for Panathinaikos. Let’s wish all athletes health. Panathinaikos grows every year, something we always have in mind and we want to create on top of that. We believe we have created a team that will chase all the titles.”
The preparation started with: Andreas Frago, Dimitris Zisi, Vassilis Kostopoulos, Yiri Kovar, Angelos Markou, Luka Rangel, Grigori Kontostathis, Stavros Kasambalis and Nikolas Papagelopoulos
In the following days, Fernando Hernandez, Rydel Ierethuelo, as well as the internationals Thanasis Protopsaltis, Thodoris Voulkidis and Giorgos Petraas will be integrated into the preparation as soon as they complete their obligations with the National team in the European Championship that starts on Tuesday.
