Dramatic end to the match, with the Iberians reaching the difference in the basket (84 86 at 39′), but Spelman’s three-pointer, 53 seconds before the end sealed the victory for the Asians.
Amir Saud had a terrific performance for Lebanon, scoring 29 points and 8 assists. Omari Rasoulala Spellman was a worthy supporter, finishing with 25 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists.
From the Ivory Coast, only Jean-Philippe Daly was saved with 21 points, while Patrick Tape scored 15 points and 6 rebounds.
