THE Berlin Union made a very big “bang”, as he announced the acquisition of Leonardo Bonucci, who will play for the first time outside of Italy.
Somehow, for the great Italian central defender, a 12-year run (in two terms) at the old lady comes to an end, with him posting a very emotional message on social media, expressing his feelings about leaving the Juve.
His message in detail:
“I am Leonardo Bonucci. I have been playing professional football for 19 years. In this long time of commitment and dedication, I know I was a divisive person, so all the love I got was always mixed with a lot more. Being true to myself today, I look you in the eye, fans and judges, because a story like this deserves respect.
Time has told what we achieved together, it was not easy to build and it will not be repeated. But the heart is capable of a long memory, you know very well. Juventus fans, today I close the biggest chapter of my life. I dreamed of a fair ending, the possibility of closing it with you, unfortunately that’s not going to happen, but the time for one more time will be there, I’m sure of it. I will always be me, the same Leonardo, still the same Bonucci.”
