PAE Olympiacos announces the acquisition of 25-year-old winger Ola Solbakken. The Norwegian was born on September 7, 1998 and in the completed season he made 20 appearances for Roma. He played 14 times in Serie A, five in the Europa League and once in the Champions League qualifiers, with one goal and four assists.
From 2020 to 2023 he played in his hometown Bodo/Glimt, with which he won two championships. In the 2021-2022 season he scored eleven goals and distributed nine assists in 32 games, numbers that led to his transfer to the Italian league. In total with Bodo/Glimt he made 91 appearances, scored 20 goals and provided 24 assists.
He previously played for his country’s Rosenborg and Randheim, and is capped eight times by the Norwegian national team, scoring one goal. He made his debut on 13 November 2021, in a World Cup qualifier against Latvia.
