After a… macaroni which offered intense emotions until its… last second, Sheffield United and Everton they came to a scoreless draw 2-2 at Bramall Lane, as part of the 4th matchday of this year’s Premier League!
The “candies” took the lead relatively early, as in the 14th minute, after a corner from the right, Onana headed in, Ducouret headed in, but Foderingham was able to clear. Temporarily, however, since the Ducouret he took the… rebound and scored from close range to make it 0-1!
Just after the half-hour mark, the home side’s equalizer came when, from a cross from the right, McBurnie turned his back, slotted a well-timed pass to Archer and he, with a very nice effort, left no room for reaction to Pickford, achieving 1-1.
In fact, Sheffield managed to make a full recovery, albeit with a sufficient dose before the break. With Hamer and Arster working together, the latter making a terrific curling shot on the edge of the box, the ball first stopping at Everton’s left-hand post and the rebound on… his neck Pickfordending up in the back of his goal, for 2-1.
However, the guests were able to “return” to the game shortly after the restart and already in the 55th minute, as after Patterson’s low turn from the right side, the incoming Danyuma hit the second post, leveling the score at 2-2.
The intense emotions continued even in the eighth minute of stoppage time, with the “blades” having double beam, after as many interventions by Picfont! First to McBurnie’s powerful header and then to the new shot attempted by the Sheffield striker…
So, both “our” George’s team Baldock where was it basic and played the full 90 minutes as Everton picked up their first point in the league after four matches.
