Alexander Cullens was born on May 4, 1992 in the city of Cayao, Peru and has a height of 1.86. He started his career in the infrastructure sections of the local club Sport Boys and with this team he made his professional debut in the country’s top division in the 2010-11 season (31 appearances – 1 goal).
He then found himself in Europe and at Real Sociedad and played mainly with their second team. In 2015 he moved to Noumantia (40 appearances and 3 goals in Segunda Division 2015-17) followed by a five-year spell in MLS with New York City.
