Reinforcement to the stoppers for the Athens Kallithea FC.
The Kallithea team announced the acquisition of the 26-year-old Argentine, Nicholas Marotawho has competed in the first divisions of Bolivia, Peru and most recently Colombia.

Athens Kallithea FC announce the signing of Argentine center back Nicolas Marotta on a free transfer.
The tough 26-year-old Argentine has played in the top divisions of Bolivia, Peru, and most recently Colombia during the 2023 season.
Born in Córdoba, Marotta was brought up by Talleres de Cordoba, the Primera Division side in his hometown, and gained experience competing with Crucero del Norte in Argentina’s third division.
In the 2019 season, Marotta signed for Club Aurora of the Bolivian first division, making 18 appearances with one goal during the year.
Having returned to Argentina with Boca Unidos, Marotta then moved to Peru and the first division with Binacional, where he made 39 total appearances with four goals between the second half of the 2021 season and the 2022 season.
Marotta spent the first half of the 2023 season in Colombia’s first division with Bucaramanga, making 18 appearances during the campaign.
During his career in the first divisions of Bolivia, Peru, and Colombia, Marotta played 90 minutes in 71 of his 75 appearances in total (two came as a substitute and two red cards).
