Ramsey cleared for Wales and keeps hopes for Euro!

He got past Latvia and Wales are still hoping! Robert Page’s team prevailed 2-0 at “Stadions Skonto” and reached 7 points, 3 behind Croatia and Turkey, who currently have 10 and are in the privileged duo to send to Euro 2024.

Wales are now level with Armenia and a… crazy rollercoaster is now created between four teams, with three “turns” left for the finale.

The match

In the early stages of the game, Wales were in control and were constantly around the Latvian area, pressing and looking for phases to take the lead. It finally came in the 29th minute from the white bullet, with Ramsey converting the penalty to make it 1-0, which stood as the final half.

Wales were better in the second half as well, searching for the second goal that would seal the three points, with VAR sparing Latvia after the referee did an on-field review and did not send off Ikaunieks. The minutes passed, the home team had all come forward and were giving bass spaces to find the equalizer and finally the guests with Brooks in the 90’+6′ wrote the final 2-0.
