We will have enough “eternals” at the start of the season!
After their almost inevitable date in his finale Super Cup on October 1 in Rhodes and their confrontation in premiere of the Euroleague on October 6 at OAKA, Olympic and Panathinaikos they will meet for the third time in a month.
The draw of the Basket League revealed how they will be placed facing SEF in 4th matchday. Not on October 28 (Saturday) because of the Euroleague, but probably on the 30th of the month. Accordingly, the second match of the “eternal” will take place on January 20. It is recalled that the game of the second round of the Euroleague is scheduled for March 14 at SEF.
For the premiere, Olympiacos will play at Nick Galis Hall against Aris and Panathinaikos will host Marousi, while in the second matchday both have big matches, with Piraeus welcoming AEK and the “greens” playing in Peristeri.
It is noted that after the changes in the format of the championship, the “eternals” will meet once more before the playoffs, without of course taking into account the strong possibility that they will meet in the Final 8 of the Cup in February.
