Dabrauskas on transfers: “If a top player comes along that we like then maybe”

by

Valdas Dabrauskas left the possibility open, but only under conditions, for OFI to make another player transfer. The coach of the Cretan team said that if there is a case of a top player who… likes it then “maybe” another transfer move will be made.

“I am very happy with how we approached the players, we worked together perfectly. Everyone did their job, and Ivan Slavov, and Minas Lysandrou, and me. I really don’t think you can make a more reasonable approach than what we did. Maybe in some cases we were lucky like with Dan. He is a player of great quality and we were able to close him down. I’m very happy with the way we did our approaches. I’m very happy with how we’ve moved in this transfer window.”said the Lithuanian technician and added:

“I think he was probably our last signing, but you never know. If there is again, suddenly, a case of a top player that we really like, then maybe. But for now, until January I think we are happy and now we have to start predicting what might happen if we have some weakness in the winter.

We must forget the game with PAOK as quickly as possible. Now it’s a new game, a new week. We had a two week break due to the National teams and from my experience with OFI, when the team comes back after a break, it’s not easy. He doesn’t have a good balance, we don’t know who is in good form and we have to be careful, focus on our preparation and training. I’m very happy with our training yesterday and today, I still have a lot of videos to show the players and we have to forget about our wins and focus on what we have to do.”
concluded.
