Marinaki’s letter to EPO: “Ask immediately for another elite for AEK-Olympiakos and a foreigner in Toumba”!

Violent attack on EPO/KED unleashed by Vangelis Marinakis on their behalf definitions by Steve Bennett in the two derbies of the 4th matchday of the Stoiximan Super League!

The president of the League speaks of “challenging definitions“, emphasizing his characteristics Portuguese elite Arthur Soares and his assistants: “After so many discussions, exchanges of letters about whether any referee is in danger in Greece and our own assurances about their safety, EPO and KED are appointing in the first big derby of the year, AEK-OLYMPIAKOS, a referee who in an AEK-ARIS Cup match (4/3/2020) he suffered violence in the dressing room by certain people and has described in the match sheet that the owner of the home team grabbed the assistant referee by the genitals amid insults and extreme tension.

He also adds:While the teams’ agreement was from the beginning to have ONLY foreign referees in the derbies, you appoint Mr. Diamantopoulos to AEK-OLYMPIAKOS who just a few days before went to blow up the Panathinaikos-Volos game with his decisions».

Then it also refers to definition of Papapetrou in Toumba for PAOK’s derby with Aris, noting: “All week you said that you would also appoint foreign referees to PAOK-ARIS, it was a requirement of both PAOK and Aris and finally you also appointed a Greek as a… qualifier for the next derby? And even a referee who has been asked to be removed by one of the two teams in the recent past? How come Papapetrou’s definition was written on blogs and websites before the definitions were announced?».

And it closes, asking directly another elite or 1st class referee for AEK-Olympiakos, foreign 4th instead of Diamantopoulos and replacement of Papapetrous with a foreign referee!

Another challenge from the illegal and corrupt “agents” of EPO and KED.

After the unanimous demand of the Super League teams as expressed in the last Board of Directors and immediately transferred to the EPO and the Supranational Federations FIFA/UEFA for the presence of foreign referees in the games between AEK, Ari, Olympiakos, Panathinaikos and PAOK, we are back at point zero.

Your provocative new definitions show that the main part of the problem, those who run the Federation, can never be part of the solution, you cannot lead football to a healthy environment, on the contrary, with your actions you incite violence.

There is so much talk about violence every day, but ultimately, violence is caused by your choices.

While the agreement of the teams was from the beginning to ONLY have foreign referees in the derby, you appoint Mr. Diamantopoulos to AEK-OLYMPIAKOS who just a few days ago went to blow up the Panathinaikos-Volos game with his decisions and a series of announcements followed. And this guy is Greek too? What exactly are you guys after with this choice? At the very least, the aggravation and maybe a lot more…

How is it possible that days before the nominations everyone knows that the referee will be Portuguese and this is written in the press?

Are the master definitions set and to order?

Is this in itself proof of the pathogenicity and perception that the EPO/KED have of arbitration or not?
