Statements in the context of the presentation of the documentary “CHAOS”which is dedicated to the very big problems faced by footballers who play in Super League 2 teams, the president of PSAPP said, Giorgos Bandis.
After thanking everyone who helped in the realization of the documentary, he referred to the goals of its creation, while he spoke about the fear that exists on the part of football players to talk about the difficulties they face, but also about the injustice they experience.
In detail what he said:
“It may seem simple to you, but it is not. Unfortunately in the year 2023, there is still fear on the part of the footballer to speak. For our part, we are working on this, it is not easy to change it, because it is very deeply rooted. Many times I understand why.”
“What is it that gave birth to CHAOS? The injustice experienced by more than 700 families of professional football players in recent years. As all hard times give birth to something, these hard times also gave birth to CHAOS. As long as I was in the administration, we saw that no matter how much we shouted through announcements and letters to all the institutional bodies, no one’s ears perspired. So we decided to bring CHAOS to everyone, so that no one can say they didn’t know what was going on in Super League 2 in previous years.”
Our goal is not to cause chaos, but to turn it into a vision, for a better professional championship of the Second National League in our country. Believe me, he is the lifeblood of Greek football. Here are great football players, such as Katsouranis. They are here to support the league, which society and football need. Let’s stop injuring it, for a better football that will give to society. If it does not give to society, it has no reason to exist. I wish the new management of Super League 2 will deal with CHAOS and lay the foundations for a championship worthy of our country”.
