Crazy 4-3 from 0-3 turnaround for Zrinski with Alkmaar, Legia thrashing Aston Villa

The first team match from Bosnia in a group of a European competition was accompanied by a match and a historic victory. THE Zrinsky in a crazy game against Alkmaar prevailed -finally- 4-3 despite the fact that he was behind in the score with 3-0 at half time.

Strut for the Aston Villa and Fiorentina. The “villagers” experienced a 3-2 defeat by Legia in Warsaw, while in Belgium, Genk with a goal in the 85th minute put a stop to Fiorentina, taking the draw at home from the Italians.

Crazy turnaround by Zrinski – Big win for Legia

One of the best matches of the entire first competition in the 5th group. Zrinski and Legia Warsaw started the group stage with wins and are first in the standings. In Bosnia, Zrisnki found themselves behind in the score with 3-0 in the first 45 minutes, but in the second they brought up and down. The home side looked nothing like the side from the first half and perhaps capitalizing on Alkmaar’s arrogance they managed to score four goals by the 82nd minute to claim a big upset win with Kozuli netting twice.

In Warsaw, Legia took the lead twice, saw Aston Villa equalize on both occasions, but eventually took the “three points” with Mucci as the star player who scored two goals.

Fiorentina “stumbled” in Belgium – Easy victory for Ferencvaros

She wanted to start with “double” her European obligations in the group but she couldn’t. Fiorentina drew 2-2 with Genk in Belgium, seeing the hosts equalize in the 85th minute through McKenzie.

In the other match of the group, Ferentsvaros had no difficulty getting their first victory in the group in the first matchday with 3-1. He saw Czukarytski open the scoring but, without difficulty, take the victory.

Easy wins for the hosts

Wins for the home team in the games of the 8th group. Ludogorets, with Piotrowski scoring two goals, easily beat Spartak Trnava 4-0, taking their first three points in this year’s competition. In Turkey, Fenerbahce easily defeated Norgeland 3-1, scoring all three goals until the 47th minute. The only thing the visitors managed was to reduce the score in the 55th minute, but in the end they could not avoid the defeat.
