One day after its completion Super Cup of Rhodes and the winning of the trophy by OlympicThe YOU WERE issued a statement thanking everyone who contributed to the event.
ESAKE’s announcement in detail:
“The members of the ESAKE Board of Directors and its president, Mr. Evangelos Galatsopoulos, warmly thank all those who contributed to the holding of the Super Cup 2023 by aegean islands, which gave us beautiful images, moments and memories for three days in Rhodes.
Throughout its duration, the Super Cup 2023 by aegean islands was what we had dreamed of in September 2020 when we decided to establish the institution as a festive start to the professional basketball season.
Everyone deserves congratulations for the impeccable sporting atmosphere that prevailed in all the events and matches of the Super Cup 2023 by aegean islands. So in a sporting spirit and with healthy rivalry we want the Basket League 2023-24 to get going which starts in less than a week.
We have no words to thank the South Aegean Region and the Municipality of Rhodes for their support for the second season in a row and the excellent cooperation we had for the holding of the Super Cup 2023 by aegean islands.
Warm thanks to ERT, who gave the opportunity to all Greek women and men to experience the unique atmosphere and watch the amazing spectacle of Super 2023 by aegean islands, and to our sponsors Hydrogeio Asfalistika, the Hellenic Tourism Organization, VAP Kougios , Top Trends which provides us with Spalding balls, GRGNESIS and AllStar Basket magazine.
We thank the 4 teams that took part in the Super Cup 2023 by aegean islands, Olympiakos, Panathinaikos, Peristeri bwin and PAOK mateco, not only for their competitive presence but also for the ethos they demonstrated.
A big thank you to the Greek Police, the management and staff of KAE Kolossos H Hotels, the staff of ESAKE and all our partners in Athens and Rhodes who worked for the success of the Super Cup 2023 by aegean islands.
