Tasos Nikologiannis spoke to bwinSPORT FM about the return to Europe and the preparation of Panathinaikos for the away game against Maccabi Haifa.

First, Nikologiannis spoke about Magnuson: “The news of the day is the renewal with Magnuson. A human move on the part of PAE Panathinaikos. He wants Panathinaikos to support his players and is a beloved child in the locker room. Yesterday, his teammates dedicated the goal to him. The renewal is for another year.”

The seasoned reporter then referred to the switch to the Europa League: “All the weight falls on the game against Maccabi. Tomorrow morning there is training and then the expedition will depart. There will be two additions to the mission, one of Vagiannidis returning and I do not rule out being used. The second is Sporar who will probably be a solution from the bench. Palmer Brown and Aitor will be out.”

For Maccabi Haifa: “There is an image for Maccabi. They have also seen her up close. They are a very aggressive team. Ivan Jovanovic will speak to his players in detail in the coming days. Panathinaikos will go with the goal of victory which, if it comes, will give them a big boost for qualification.”

Also, Nikologiannis talked about the improvement this year in the creation, but also about the corrections needed in the defensive transition.
