On his family’s relations with Marinakis: “There is no development. Nothing new…”
On whether the Kokkalis family is waging war on Olympiakos and whether his father could control the arbitration: “The Kokkalis family is against the war. And it’s ridiculous for anyone to think that. As for the other thing you said, my father had no other job than dealing with the EPO…”
On what he has to do with the president of Olympiakos: “I have nothing to part with.”
On whether he is optimistic about Greek football: “It’s up to the team owners”.
On whether Olympiacos will win the championship this year: “I wish! It’s still early, but I can see that this year’s team is better than last year’s, more alive. I believe he will get it. I hope he gets it”.
On whether he has cried for Olympiakos and when: “Of course. In the lost Tel Aviv final. But Olympiacos is not for crying. Olympiacos is for rejoicing. There are other things in the country to cry about.”
