Past technical leadership of Atromitos is Chris Coleman, with the two sides deciding the mutual consent solution of his cooperation.
Immediately after announcing the “divorce”, the Welsh coach, who took over the Peristeri team in January 2022, sent his farewell message to the club, thanking everyone and expressing confidence that the team will return to the road of success .
Chris Coleman’s “farewell” to Intrepid:
“The last few days have been some of the most difficult in my life and in my career. After the last negative result with Panathinaikos, we met with the management and decided that the best thing for Atromitos is for us to part ways at this time.
I want to thank the entire family of Atromitos, who from the first day of my presence in the team made me feel part of it and leaving I feel that I really have a second home in Greece, and even more so in Peristeri.
Of course, I also want to thank the people of the team for the love they showed me in the good times and especially in the difficult ones, having been through a lot in these two years or so, that I had the honor of being a coach at Atromitos and in fact on his 100th birthday.
Our team is made up of people who love it to a great extent, has an excellent roster and with the necessary support of the people, who are always “present”, I am sure that it will find the road to success again.
