“He committed suicide” and now Romania is running

by

Romania failed to score in neutral Budapest against Belarus and with 0-0 for the seventh matchday of the ninth qualifying group of Euro 2024, they will now have to wait and see what will happen in the postponed Israel-Switzerland match.

Belarus-Romania 0-0

The two teams started strongly in the first 20 minutes and both created two or three good chances in front of the goals of Ignatovic and Moldovan respectively. The Romanians then took the lead and, led by Stanciu, created and missed chances to open the scoring until the half ended goalless.

In the first quarter of the second half, Romania pressed and missed two good chances to open the scoring without succeeding, with Koncevoi replying in between for the hosts. The Romanians continued to press and create chances with Stanciu and Moldovan, but 0-0 remained. Stanciu continued to miss opportunities for the Romanians and the anxiety continued for the visitors.

At the same time, the fact that all the Romanians had come forward gave the Belarusians the opportunity to counterattack and miss two good opportunities to “drain” the Romanians, and with all this the Romanians “killed themselves”.

Andorra-Kosovo 0-3

The Kosovars did not find a way out of the hosts’ goal and Rasica and Rahmani did not create the number of chances they expected. But, in the 26th minute, Mousligia found Rasitsa in a nice way and he made it 0-1 with a nice place. After the goal, the Kosovars missed two good chances until the end of the half without changing anything.

The Kosovars went into the replay furious and constantly created opportunities in the opponent’s goal. Finally, their efforts were vindicated in the 71st minute, when Musligia’s cross in the area favored Rasitsas, who scored in an empty net to make it 0-2. The Kosovars did not rest and were looking for a third goal. And they achieved it in the 83rd minute, when Rasitsa took a wonderful cross to Zekiri and he made it 0-3 with a nice placement, which was also the final result.
