Official: Vulic in Xanthi

Ο Α.Ο. Xanthi PAE announces the hiring of the Croatian coach Zoran Vulic, who signed a cooperation contract with our team until the end of the season and will have as his direct partner Zikica Tasevski from Northern Macedonia.

Zoran Vulic was born on October 4, 1961 and connected his name with Hajduk Split, from where he started and finished his football career, while in the meantime he also went through Spain (Mallorca) and France (Nantes), playing as a central defender.

From Hajduk Split, his hometown, he started on the bench, having several terms between 1998 and 2007, while in the period 2002-2004 he was Otto Baric’s assistant in the Croatian National Team. He then worked in the Russian Luch Vladivostok (2008-09) and in the HNK Rijeka (2009) NK Istra (2010 and 2011) RNK Split (2012-13 and 2014-15) of his homeland, having a passage from the National team K19 of Croatia in 2014.

He then worked at Sheriff Tiraspol, with which he won the Moldovan championship in the 2015-16 season, in Atyrau, Kazakhstan in the 2016-17 season, and at Apollon Smyrna, which he coached in the Super League from September to December 2017.

In the 2018-19 season, he had another term on the bench of Hajduk Split and now assumes the technical leadership of AOX, aiming to help the team fulfill its goals.

Zikica Tasevski was born on February 15, 1978 and has worked as a head coach at Madzari Solidarnost (2004-05), Vardar Skopje (2009), Metalurg Skopje (2010-11), Rabotnicki (2012-13 and 2018-19), Sileks ( 2016-2018) and Makedonija Gjorce Petrov (2020-21) of his homeland, as well as the Chinese Hunan Billows (2015-16), in which he had also served as an assistant coach a year earlier, as well as the Bulgarian Lokomotiv Plovdiv in the 2013 season -14.
