Panathinaikos advanced to the final of the men’s volleyball tournament of Gubio on Saturday. The “greens” defeated Taranto 3-2 in the first semi-final of the competition and on Sunday they will face one of Ciserna or Padua in the final.
The “clover” was losing 0-2 sets, but reacted and won in the tie break. Leading for the “greens” were Kovar and Hernandez with 18 points each.
