UWW announced the official program of the year for sand wrestling and, for another year, Katerini Beach was selected to host one of the five events of the World Championship.
This is the recognition of the good work done in the sport in recent years, with Paralia Katerinis constantly winning the bet of the perfect organization of the world tournament.
“Athletes will take care of the high quality of action, with impressive falls and plenty of sport on beaches across Europe this summer,” the World Federation said in a statement.
“The season will start in Odessa, Ukraine and the World Series will return to one of the locations selected in 2019 by the Black Sea. Three weeks later, the next tournament will be hosted in Spain, specifically in Sanxenxo, Galicia.
The sequel will take place at Saint Laurent du Var on the Cote d’Azur in France and in Katerini, Greece, in July. The final of the World Series, which will host stars from four different categories in men and women, will take place in Romania and the Black Sea, from where it started for a spectacular tournament in the charming Constanta.
