Papatheodorou: “We were disciplined and serious – Let’s evolve and stay united”

With a sensational (and historic) appearance, Mr Prometheus organized a “party” in Patras at the expense of Opava, which he defeated with a score of 115-66, starting his presence in the BCL strongly!

After the match, Ilias Papatheodorou he did not hide his satisfaction with the appearance of the Patrinas, stressing that they showed an excellent image throughout the match, however they must stay united for the continuation.

In detail what he said to the “Cosmote TV” camera:

For the impressive win over Opava: “We were in control from the start of the match both in defense and attack and achieved a comfortable victory. It’s a very good start for us in the BCL.”

For the fact that his team didn’t let their foot off the gas: “We had a discussion based on the previous home game against Karditsa. Today we were disciplined and serious for 40′, we had a good image for a longer duration in our game.”

For Prometheus’ goals: “The goal of Prometheus is clear. We have new players and a new staff and we want to become a team quickly. We have good signs. It is early, we are 1.5 months together, but we have excellent athletes – characters. The first messages are encouraging, the team must evolve and stay united even in difficult times.”

For the plan with the utilization of young children in Patrinos: “Once there is a response from the young guys, which they show in training with mood, motivation, ambition and love for the team, there is no reason not to support the Greek players. There is a big problem, it is clear. We want to support these children and make them members of the trunk of Prometheus”.
