After 19 years of a great career, Mr Andre Iguodala hangs up his shoes.
THE 39 years old forward gave an interview to the “New York Times” and made it clear that he is ending his career, which is not surprising since he stated last year that the season 2022-23 it will probably be his last.
In fact, “Iggy” has already decided the… path he will follow after his retirement, since he is expected to deal with the investments in start-up companies through one fund created by himself together with a partner.
Iguodala was selected in the 2004 draft number 9 by the Sixers. In his career he also played for the Nuggets, Warriors and Heath. With the Golden State team he lived his best years, after winning 4 championships, being Finals MVP of 2015. Overall, played 1408 matches in the regular season and playoffs, averaging 11.3 points, 4.9 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game.
After nearly 20 years, Andre Iguodala is retiring from pro basketball to focus on his other career, per @dealbook: start-up investor.
