THE Dominic Kotarskia few days after the renewal of his contract, he spoke about the joy that this event causes him, but also about the upcoming matches of the “double-header of the north” in Greece and Europe.
In detail what he said to the NOVA camera:
About his new contract with PAOK: “I am very happy about the extension of my contract. I am happy to be here at PAOK, I enjoy it as well as life in Thessaloniki. What I want to prove is that I deserve this club’s trust. I don’t like to talk very much and I want to show that joy on the field by helping my team.”
On whether it was an easy decision to agree and what makes him happy: “It was a very easy decision for me. The team has shown me a huge trust from the first moment. I play in a great team, aiming for the titles, it was not easy to answer positively since PAOK fulfills my ambitions. Despite my young age, PAOK relies on me, I play in all the matches, the conditions are very nice”.
On the fact that he is not the only youngster that PAOK relies on him, but he has teammates with a lot of talent: “I think we have a very good balance in the team. There are experienced players with many performances and youngsters who have talent. This team will bring a lot of joy to the world, it is built to grow and do great things.”
On whether he is afraid of the disruption in how his team will appear in the match against Atromitos: “Nothing scares me. I have no anxiety but impatience to play again since we want the action to start again. Let’s play and of course win. We were used to playing every three days and we missed that. We welcome Atromitos, we play at home. I respect the opponent but we must not allow him to claim anything. I expect him to play closed and look for counterattacks. We want to play our football, enjoy it and leave the field with the three points.”
On whether he is also looking forward to the match in Scotland: “I am completely focused on the match against Atromitos, I don’t want to talk about Europe. We will do this after Sunday’s match.”
