Olympiacos swept PAOK in Rentis and made an emphatic debut! The “red and white” were impressive and comfortably cleared the “North Doubleheader” 3-0 for the first matchday of the Women’s Volleyball League.

At the same time, AEK had an easy task in their own premiership, comfortably winning 3-0 against Lamia. With the same score, Apollonios’ Markopoulos prevailed, while Ilysiakos overcame the resistance of the Pine Champions.

In Renti, Olympiacos was surprised to see PAOK leading 4-1, but tied at 7-7 and then took the lead against Lambrousi. The match went point-to-point, but the hosts managed to take the lead (16-14) at the most crucial point against Carraro. PAOK lost their composure as a result of which Olympiacos escaped to +6 (20-14) and as a result took the set 25-19.

In the second set, PAOK did not appear in the taraflex with Olympiacos dominating, reaching an impressive 15-5! As was normal, the “red and white” comfortably reached 2-0, with Lambrousi ending the score with 25-12.
