Derby in Karaiskaki and battles for the “Two-Headed”

by

Kifisia-OFI

Kifisia and OFI will face each other for the first time in their history in the Super League, with the two teams having a history in 2015-16 in the championship of the 3rd National League and last year in the organization of the Greek Cup.

OFI has the same number of wins in the three matches between them and in fact the Kifisia team did not manage to score a single goal in the three 90 minutes.

The match between the two teams will take place at the stadium of Lamia, where OFI has faced Lamia for this year’s championship and the two teams were drawn. Kifisia, for its part, has also used this stadium as its home ground in the match against Atromitos, where it recorded its only victory of the season.

Its other two matches as home team took place at the stadium of Kaisariani for Kifissia, where two draws were recorded, with Panserraikos and Lamia. In total, the newcomers have played three matches as hosts and remain unbeaten.

OFI in its last two away games got two draws, in Lamia and Agrinio, while in its first away game mid-season for the Stoiximan Super League, it was defeated 3-0 by Asteras in Tripoli.

Asteras Tripoli-AEK

Absolute balance exists in Asteras Tripoli’s matches with AEK in Arcadia, with both teams having five wins each and the other five games having ended in draws.

Their last four games at home to Asteras have ended in draws and the last time there was a winner was on November 29, 2020, when AEK prevailed 2-1.

The last victory of the Arkadia team is on October 1, 2017, when they won 2-0 and since then there are 13 home and away matches in which they have not managed to beat AEK. During this time he has 9 defeats and four draws.

Just two of their 15 games have ended in a goalless draw, while three of AEK’s five wins in Tripoli have come without conceding a goal.

Just 35 goals have been scored in the meetings between them in Tripoli, just over two goals per match, while their most productive matches are 3-2 scores, with a win for each.

Peckhart is the only footballer to have found the net twice in the same match against Asteras Tripoli, while Barales and Arsarifard are the only ones to have scored in consecutive games for their team.

PAOK-Atromitos

PAOK will host Atromitos for the 26th time in their history in the Super League/A’ National and has 15 wins, while Atromitos has won 7 times.

Between them there are also four draws, with the last one in 2020-21 with 1-1 in Toumba.

After this draw, PAOK prevailed in the last two, while the two teams drew in the Second Round match in Peristeri with 1-1.

Five of PAOK’s 15 wins over Atromitos were 2-1, a score that is the most popular for Dikefalos and follows 1-0 with three appearances and 2-0 with two appearances. There are still two 5-1 wins and one more 3-1. Draws have been plentiful, with two ending 1-1, while 0-0 and 2-2 have occurred once. For Atromitos, his victories are with four different scores, 0-1, 0-3, 1-2 and 3-4.

PAOK remains unbeaten by Atromitos for six consecutive matches at home, in which they have scored five wins and there is one draw, that of 2020-21 with 1-1.

Olympiacos-Panathinaikos

Olympiacos has hosted Panathinaikos 68 times for the First National/Stoiximan Super League and has won 31 times, while Panathinaikos has 13 wins. The two teams have left the field tied 24 times.

The victory of Olympiakos in the process of last year’s Stoiximan Playoffs as a home team broke a general streak of seven independent home games without defeat that Panathinaikos had created after the dominance of the Reds on May 16, 2021 with 4-1 at the Alexandra Avenue stadium.

During this time there have been three Panathinaikos wins and four draws in seven matches in both venues. Three of the four ties between the two teams were 0-0, while there was also one with a score of 1-1.

The Greens’ seven-match unbeaten run against Olympiakos equaled their best ever run from 1987-88 to 1990-91 when they again ran seven games with three wins and four draws.

The most frequent score in the matches between them is 1-1 and 1-0 with 13 appearances each. 0-0 with 8 appearances is in third place and from there on 2-1 with six and 1-2 with five follow.

The first National A/Stoiximan Super League match between the two teams with Olympiacos at home took place on July 24, 1960 and Panathinaikos prevailed 4-1 with Andreas Papaemmanouil scoring the first hat trick in a derby and the other goal of visitors came with an own goal by Laimos.
